About Us

A Legacy of Vision, Hard Work, and Dedication

Diksha Polymers started as a dream shared by two brothers, Vivek and Vipin Mandelia. Growing up in the cotton mills of Indore, where their father was a manager, they were inspired by their parents' resilience and determination to dream big. Their father’s dedication shaped their values, while their mother, Hem Lata Mandelia, was their steady support, encouraging them to build something of their own.

For Vivek and Vipin, Diksha Polymers was never just about making products; it was about creating opportunities, raising industry standards, and giving back to the community. With years of hard work, learning, and perseverance, they transformed Diksha Polymers into a leader in plastic packaging, now running four successful factories, with no plans of slowing down.

Every product we create reflects the dedication that got us here, and every milestone we reach honors the values our family holds dear. To us, success isn’t just about numbers; it’s about the lives we touch, the standards we set, and the community we uplift along the way.

Our Journey

1997: Laying the Foundation

In 1997, Vivek and Vipin took the first bold step, establishing Diksha Polymers in a modest 1,000 sq. ft. rented shed with just a single hand-molding machine. Their ambitious entry into the plastic packaging industry marked the beginning of a legacy grounded in family values, resilience, and an unshakeable commitment to success.

2002: Sparking Growth

They recognized the need for expansion, and led Diksha Polymers’ first major acquisition—a plot of land that would enable the company to scale from one machine to six, thus beginning Diksha’s journey from a small setup to a growing enterprise.

2006: Strengthening with Backward Integration

To gain independence and secure the supply chain, Diksha Polymers strategically invested in backward integration, reducing reliance on external suppliers by producing its own PET preforms. This step enhanced the company’s production capabilities, driving further growth. With additional land acquisitions, Diksha expanded its facilities, elevating production capacity to meet the increasing market demand.

2008: Establishing a Broader Industry Presence

Continuing the journey of expansion, Diksha Polymers acquired adjacent land and established a larger factory setup, enabling it to fulfill larger orders and scale operations.

2010: Product Diversification into HDPE Containers

Recognizing new market opportunities, Diksha Polymers diversified its offerings to include HDPE containers, catering primarily to the edible oil and ghee sectors. This diversification not only expanded the company’s product range but also opened up new revenue streams. Additional land and a dedicated production line for HDPE containers solidified Diksha’s market presence.

2012: Scaling for Market Leadership

With strategic land acquisitions and expanded facilities, Vivek and Vipin scaled Diksha Polymers’ production capacity to serve a broader customer base across Madhya Pradesh. By now, Diksha Polymers was renowned for its commitment to quality and reliability, making it a trusted name in the region.

2020: Recognized as a Market Leader

By 2020, Diksha Polymers had firmly established itself as a leader in Gwalior’s packaging industry. They produced 3 lakh PET bottles daily, 200 metric tons of PET preforms monthly, and 70 tons of HDPE containers each month. The Mandelia family’s dedication fostered an ecosystem that supported over 100 employees and numerous local suppliers, solidifying Diksha Polymers as a regional powerhouse.
